Host Jessi Lang kicks off the second one season of Motor Trend videos on YouTube with a fresh new show called The J-Turn. Not surprisingly, the 1st episode is devoted to the special maneuver from which her show is called – the J-Turn. She teams up with Roadkill host David Freiburger because the two tear up a large-open parking space with a 2013 Ford Mustang and a Dodge Challenger.

Freiburger starts the episode by distinguishing J-Turns from Rockfords, two commonly mixed-up maneuvers. He uses a toy 1969 Chevy Camaro for his demonstration and professes his expertise in both maneuvers because of years of practice in rental cars. We’ll permit you to watch the video to find the diversities between the tricks, but here’s a touch: one is completed traveling in reverse and the opposite begins by going forward.  And by the look at the hosts’ faces, both tricks are fun.

At the tip, Freiburger shows off his best Smokey and the Bandit impersonation with a Dodge Challenger and offers a quick evaluation of Lang’s performance. Watch the whole video – complete with slow-motion shots of the Mustang and Challenger in action – below.
