Volkswagen previously teased its Super Bowl commercial with Jimmy Cliff singing, “C’mon, Get Happy,” and now the automaker has released the entire commercial this is, unsurprisingly, called “Get Happy.”

The clip, as a way to air this Sunday in the course of the second quarter of the Super Bowl, features an unexpectedly jovial office worker from Minnesota. Despite grim conditions in his workplace — dull workdays, tiring Monday mornings — said employee is continually upbeat and cheers his colleagues by complimenting them in an overt Caribbean accent.

Unlike the teaser video, this full commercial actually does include a Volkswagen product. It kind of feels the employee’s joy and speech affectation come from driving a Volkswagen Beetle Turbo. Who knew the 200-hp coupe had such transformative powers

“We got down to create a lighthearted and energetic ad to symbolize the positive energy and sunny disposition that only the Beetle and Volkswagen can deliver,” explains Mike Sheldon, CEO of advertising agency Deutsch LA.
